About
I've been writing code since high school — the kind of curiosity that starts with wanting to understand how things work, and has kept growing from there. That led me to study computer engineering, and into more than 10 years of working professionally since. Most of that work has sat close to the foundations: backend services, distributed systems, and the cloud and network infrastructure that holds them together — the layers where early decisions quietly determine whether a system scales cleanly or becomes difficult to change later. I also work further up the stack, building user interfaces and applications for mobile (iOS and Android) and desktop when a product needs to go end to end.
Today I'm at Timus Networks, focused on secure cloud and infrastructure systems and the products built on them: how services authenticate and communicate, network and VPN security — including hands-on work with WireGuard and OpenVPN — Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and the platform tooling that lets teams ship reliably. Lately that's included building security and ZTNA products with AI capabilities built in, alongside the infrastructure those products run on.
I care about systems that are simple to operate and secure by design. Reliability and observability aren't bolted on at the end; they're built in from the start. Given two solutions, I'll usually take the one that's easier to run and maintain over the one that's more clever.
Oh, and I have a thing for CSS animations. If this page feels a little lively — that's intentional. Don't judge.
